"Is BBP suitable for nervous or reactive dogs?"
Yes. Belsay Bark Park is designed for exclusive private hire, so you and your dogs will have the field to yourselves during your booked session. This makes it ideal for nervous, reactive or easily distracted dogs who may prefer some extra space.
"Can I reschedule my booking?"
Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before your session, subject to availability. Unfortunately, bookings cannot be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of the start time and refunds are not available.
"Can I bring people with me?"
Yes! You're welcome to enjoy the field with family or friends, including children. We simply ask that children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times and that everyone follows the field rules during your visit.
Fence Height And Type?
Our exercise field is securely enclosed with a 6ft (1.8m) high dog-safe fence, designed to keep dogs safely contained while they enjoy their freedom to run and explore. The secure fencing and gated entrance provide peace of mind throughout your visit.
"Is there agility equipment?"
Yes! Your hire includes access to our specialist dog agility equipment and activities, giving your dog even more ways to exercise, play and have fun during your session. Whether they're an agility pro or simply fancy trying something new, you're welcome to make use of the equipment while you have exclusive use of the field.
What are your Opening Times?
We are open 7 days a week. From April to September, we’re open 7am–8pm, with the latest booking at 7pm. From October to March, we’re open 8am–5pm, with the latest booking at 4pm.
What does it Cost?
A one hour session costs £11.45 for one dog and then an extra £1 for each additional dog up to 6 dogs.
